The project is connected with a smart city. The goal of creating a smart city is to improve the quality of life using urban informatics technology to improve service efficiency and meet the needs of residents. The main goal is access to counters and other city systems from the phone.

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer for a long-term project.
About project
The world is changing, and we must adapt! In the last few years, utility industries have started renovating to adapt to forever increasing needs of water, electricity, and other resources by introducing smart city functions at a global scale. At ..... we are trying to further this change with our platform.
At the moment we are putting all our efforts to perfect water usage functionality by implementing various monitoring and alerting tools for our customers. To do this we try to utilize the best-suited technologies for it and use all our previous experience to create a platform, which would be able to monitor over 20 million devices hourly.

The project is already in its second year. The main goal is access to counters and other city systems from the phone. Like a smart home, but on a city scale. All data will be in the cloud, so AWS or other cloud solutions are important.

Python (our main programming language), Kafka, AWS

Most of the code is located: lambdas

Requirements
5 + years of Python programming experience;
Technologies used in projects - technologies/services/frameworks:
- Cognito
- Quicksight
- PowerBI
- React(for frontend app)
- Kibana stack
- CircleCI
- Redis
English level: upper intermediate (Fully English-speaking team)
Experience in AWS. The availability of a valid AWS certificate is a prerequisite for the consideration of a candidate.

Time zone of the project (in which time zone the candidate will need to work): Europe
