About Project:

We are working with a full-service software development company located in Austin, TX (USA).

The Company is providing DevOps services through the set of projects to end clients, along with Development teams (Devs, QA, SM, PM, etc.) staffed at SoftServe. DevOps involvement is being handled as a dedicated team and is targeted on long-lasting cooperation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Scope of work will consist of 2 parts:

• Assist projects with MS stack (Microsoft stack, Azure cloud, PowerShell, Docker containers, experience with establishing CI/CD process in VSTS). Knowledge on this stack is required for the position.

Recent project in the direction is with US Agriculture bank. Projects have different length and complexity. Some of them to be deployed on-premises, others - in the Azure cloud. The Client has ongoing migration from TFS to VSTS. Project teams are mostly working with VSTS (but TFVS version control).

• Assisting project with Unix stack (AWS, Terraform, Ansible/SaltStack, Jenkins CI, Linux, bash/Python, Docker). This is currently covered by DevOps TechLead. The need and ability to assist on this direction will depend on the load and priorities (covered existing DevOps vacation/sickness, priority changes, etc.).
