About Client:

Our Client is a fast growing company located in Austin, TX. It is the company which makes its business by providing Billing as a Service. They support both Usage-based and Subscription-based models of billing by providing users with an API. Following the most modern software development trends and best practices the Company implement their platform on public clouds such as Rackspace and AWS. Also, they adopt the micro-services approach for building their current architecture.

Requirements:

• The person has to have a good experience to support existing infrastructure -
• At least 3 years working with Linux/Unix systems, good troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Familiar with RHEL systems (Centos, Fedora, RHEL)
• Good understanding and support of the Tomcat and Java web applications
• Good understanding of Backend (Data Bases), MySQL, PostgreSQL; NoSQL bases as a plus
• Experience with scripting languages: Bash/Shell, Python, Groovy (as a big plus)
• Understanding and knowledge how to work with ELK Stack Monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Zenoss, etc.)
• Cloud-based monitoring will be a plus
• Familiar with tracking systems working, such as Mantis, Jira, Trac
• Docker Automation tools (Ansible, Puppet as a plus)
