Job Purpose:

We are looking for the HR Business Partner, who will become an “HR front-end” for business (company, Business Unit/Department, people, clients) and build efficient HR environment for achieving business objectives. Such a person will act as a strategic partner and change agent, an employee champion and administrative expert. And will coordinate and facilitate Talent Management activities in the Business Unit/Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Partner –

  • Identify and build key talent segments and provide input to workforce plan/staffing model
  • Provide input on business unit restructures and succession planning
  • Together with line management select and onboard the key talents for the respective business units
  • Support CSLs with client-facing questions related to corporate HR services and policies
  • Analyze HR data (ESAT, turnover, people costs etc.) in Business Units/Departments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement

Change Agent –

  • Analyze global trends and benchmarks in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • In cooperation with the HR Centre of Excellence initiate changes in corporate HR services and policies based on business needs
  • Consult business leaders on creating efficient people management environment within business units
  • Ensure the smooth introduction and implementation of new people management-related solutions, programs and policies within the business unit

Employee Champion –

  • Provide consultation on organizing and conducting various feedback sessions (pit stops, 360 feedback etc.) with business leaders to develop and communicate business goals, personal objectives and development plans of their leadership team
  • Coach managers on communicating feedback
  • Participate in business unit leadership team meetings (facilitate on demand) and provide input on people management-related practices
  • Assist in resolving complex or sensitive people management-related issues (critical talent and senior+ level positions). Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Identify training needs for business units’ leaders and individual executive coaching needs and monitor training programs success
  • Build strong partnership with other Delivery partners (Finance, GTA, GDE, Administration etc.)

Administrative Expert –

  • Interpret company HR vision, mission, and strategy to Business Units/Departments leadership
  • Guide leaders through corporate Human Resources services
  • Recommend methods for integration of HR services and initiatives within Business Units/Departments
  • Meet with business leaders to discuss salary guidelines and forecasts for critical accounts or talents
  • Together with line management form job-offer deals for new hires, promotions, and transfers
  • Conduct presentations about corporate Talent Management framework for clients (on demand)

Requirements:

Education -

  • Master degree or higher
  • Desirable specialization – Psychology/Sociology/Management

Expert knowledge -

  • General knowledge of IT company functioning
  • General knowledge of IT industry standards and trends
  • General knowledge of human psychology
  • Deep knowledge of SoftServe internal functioning
  • Deep knowledge of SoftServe Human Resources services and policies
