MISSION

The Area HR Business Partner for the CIS Area is the driving force in partnership with the Leadership Team, for creation and implementation of people and organizations pragmatic initiatives to support business needs and Cotecna's transformation. Reporting to the VP CIS Area and functionally to the Global HR Business Partner, Commercial Division, he works very closely with business leaders and supported countries.

The Area HR Business Partner is a key HR player for successfully leading HR functional excellence and HR end-to-end service.

The Area HR Business Partner is an active member of the Extended HR Team aiming to support the growth agenda through strategic, tactic and operational HR deliverables, in areas such as change management, organization design, talent management, staffing, employee relations, L&D, C&B, and Compliance.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Advise and coach the business in all HR matters, such as organizational design, reorganisation, business specific HR development and compensation activities
  • Establish and develop effective win-win working relationships with Leaders, managers and employees through an environment that fosters trust, communication and co-operation
  • Actively support development of pragmatic HR practices, programs and process that enhance HR contribution to the business and develop functional efficiencies and ways of working
  • Drive People strategies for area of responsibilities, ensuring that people are taken into consideration when discussing and planning business activities, projects and plans
  • Pro-actively challenge the established organisational structure to drive superior performance and ensure alignment with area business objectives
  • Launch and lead change initiatives in supported business / functions
  • Recruit local staff in supported business / functions
  • Lead talent identification / assessment / review / calibration to ensure high performance is rewarded and developed in line with the development cycles, and implement key position succession planning and talent management plans
  • Coach Leaders and People Managers in supported business / functions to apply and communicate HR and People principles/policies/strategies/ guidelines
  • Ensure compliance in HR (policies and practices) as well as flawless end to end HR service and excellence
  • Ensure efficient communication and coordination of HR activities in supported business / functions as well as of business needs to Corporate & Local HR
  • Ensure implementation of cross country/area HR processes in supported business, advising / supporting local HR teams in their operative tasks (e.g. PDD, Salary Review)
  • Actively participate in HR transversal and global initiatives (Talent, Learning, Development...)
  • Contribute to cross-functional or cross sites projects, representing HR
  • Ensure consistency of job grades and salary structures across area
  • Ensure local Staff Regulations are up-to-date and aligned with local and Corporate rules
  • Manage Employee Life cycle & Employee Relations (interface/partnership with local lawyers for instance)
  • Support M&A process/integration from an HR stand point
  • Act as HR Manager for the Area, working closely with Country Managers of respective countries

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master University degree. Master in HR or related field would be an advantage.
  • Sound understanding and experience of the business
  • 10+ years progressive experience in HR Generalist roles (including senior roles and management roles) in multinational companies
  • International exposure and cross-cultural agility is a must
  • Exposure to services environments would be a plus
  • Experience in leading specific HR processes and developing HR tools, e.g. Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment/Resourcing
  • Solid knowledge of change management, project management, employee life cycle activities, employee relations
  • Fluent in English and Russian.
