Location: Remote work, with travel
Type: Full time (8 hours/day, Monday to Friday)
Who should apply?
Banking specialists with at least 5 years of banking experience, including:
- At least 3 years in a head office position, including at least 1 year at a middle management position
- Experience as a full-time bank employee not later than 2018
- Strong experience with MSME segments (experience with corporate and/or retail business segments is an advantage)
- Experience working in leading international banks is an advantage
What experience/skills are needed to perform well in this position?
- Business development, operational business planning, setting KPIs, budgeting and staff hiring and motivation
- Sales and delivery channel management
- Development and improvement of lending and non-lending products (knowledge of trade finance products is an advantage)
- Credit analysis, credit risk assessment and underwriting, particularly in MSME segments (including agriculture)
- Business process optimization, including costing analysis and cost cutting
- Digitalization and automation of business processes, particularly credit process workflows (e.g. CRM systems, loan origination systems, scoring-based online lending solutions)
- Data analysis, in particular experience with big data and management reporting/dashboards
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of VBA and/or Power BI (or similar analytical tools) is a strong advantage
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Russian
- Strong writing skills
- Flexibility to travel and spend >50% of your time out of your home country
What are the responsibilities?
- Assess the needs of partner financial institutions (PFIs) as related to the improvement of institutional capacities in the aforementioned areas of expertise
- Provide conceptual and practical consulting on the development and optimization of business processes that cover the aforementioned areas
- Develop internal procedures and tools for PFIs on the aforementioned areas
- Support the implementation of recommendations in cooperation with PFI teams
- Conduct effective training sessions and workshops
- Write regular reports on project progress and impact
