GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Test Engineer to join its Kyiv office.

Within a System Test team, you will contribute to the design and development of system regression tests and testing of the LTE solutions. System Test team is responsible to define and establish the methodology and the environment for an efficient system level testing.

Requirements

• BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field;
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing, test automation, system integration, administration or other IT related field;
• At least 1 year of experience in software testing;
• Good knowledge and understanding of the software testing methodologies and techniques;
• Experience in working with testing documentation;
• Experience in Linux (or other Unix-based) operating systems;
• Basic knowledge of one or several programming/scripting languages;
• At least intermediate spoken and writing English.

Preferences

• Good knowledge/experience in computer networks (Ethernet, TCP/IP);
• Good knowledge of the Linux (or other Unix-based) operating systems;
• Experience working with/testing/developing the embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the definition of the test specifications;
• Participate in test execution and bug reporting;
• Participate in the analysis and diagnosis of regular system regression tests;
• Participate in analysis and troubleshooting of the complex software/hardware systems;
• Cooperate with development and integration team to follow up bug resolution.
