GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Lead Java Developer to join its Kyiv office.

We are looking for Lead Java Developer who can join the team. Our Client is a transnational company that owns numerous products within the Finance domain. The сlient platform combines market-proven payments and cash management with the customer experience and engagement capabilities that banks can use to manage their own branding, segmentation, and integration with related applications.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in developing web applications using Java, HTML, CSS and javascript
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
• Good understanding of RDBMS concepts and development experience in Informix or similar enterprise database.
• Familiar with build tools like Maven and MakeFile
• Unix (Linux) environment knowledge and experience.
• Experience with advanced Unix programming in Java
• Experience in the role of team leader

Preferred Skills:

• Perl and shell scripting experience
• Experience with C++, AJAX, and JQuery or related technology
• SOAP and REST services understood and experience
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, XSD and XPath a plus
• Expertise in a testing framework such as JUnit and Selenium a plus

Responsibilities

• Involved in all stages of development including planning, implementation, testing, documentation, release and product support
• Work to debug and implement new changes to systems as they are prioritized
• Give technical direction and guidance to more junior Software Developers
• Take the lead on projects that involve multiple contributing software developers.
• Analyze and repair reported software problems
• Facilitate a high level of technical communication with the Customer Service group
• Implement new features and modifications
