Вакансия L2 Network Support Engineer (Mobile Data)

Infopulse Ukraine welcomes talented professionals to join our project and to work as an L2 Network Support Engineer (Mobile Data), SMS services specialization in a Telecom Team for our respectful client BICS in our Kyiv office.

Areas of Responsibility

• Be part of the SNA (Services and Network Assurance) L2 MD team, provide L2 network support activities, perform reactive maintenance actions for mobile messaging platforms and services: STP/SCCP, SMS, MMS, SMSFW, DRA, Network Hubs solutions support: Roaming hub, SMS Hub, MMS Hub and MMS Virtual Delivery
• Investigate upon specific requests from BICS customers or internal customers related to SCCP, MAP, ISUP, CAMEL, INAP exchange
• Provide detailed traces on SMS exchange cases by using probes and provide this information to BICS customers and Account Manager/Product Manager
• Apply advanced troubleshooting approaches and provide support for L1 engineers in complex troubleshooting cases
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors, develop and negotiate positions in complex engineering situations
• Apply engineering experience to the most complex services as consultation, investigation and research

Qualifications

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, IT, Telecommunications or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in operation of mobile or fixed networks as an engineer
• Strong SCCP, MAP, ISUP, CAMEL, INAP knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of signalling protocol monitoring tools, protocol analysers, trace analysis
• Strong knowledge of and experience with roaming data implementation on mobile network nodes
• Good knowledge of and operational experience in VAS services
• Excellent communication skills, ability to deliver technical information to various audiences
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Strong customer-oriented competency.
