Вакансия Export, Import Logistics Manager for back office (ВЭД, ЗЭД)

Lviv branch of USA-based shipping company is searching for shipping manager for export and import operations (work from our office in Lviv; all business operations located in the United States; work hours: 9 am to 6 pm USA East Coast time).

Responsibilities:

• Manage movement of export and import cargo (containerized cargo, ocean and trucking mode of transportation) according to company’s standard operational procedures;
• Work with major shipping lines to maintain bookings depository (obtain new bookings, keep bookings up to date by rolling or advancing them; work with warehouse and clients to update the status of bookings);
• Enter data related to shipping transactions into company software; verify and sort incoming data. Process Bills of Lading, Loading orders, Dock Receipts and other shipping documents;
• Oversee filing of data to the U.S. Customs system;
• Respond to various customers' inquiries via email and phone;
• Track cargo movement at every transportation leg; cooperate with trucking department to ensure timely pick up or drop off at terminals and delivery to destination facility.
• Coordinate with accounting department and obtain releases for import and export containers.

Requirements:

• Ability to work during evening and night time: working hours — from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. local time (necessary to synchronize with U.S. business hours);

• Minimum 2 years of work experience
• Fluency in English (speaking & writing);
• MS Office knowledge
• Multi-tasking, organizational, prioritization skills;
• Demonstrated attention to detail;
• Excellent time management skills;
