Our client- one of the largest bank in the country in terms of capital and size of assets. Member of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, S.W.I.F.T.

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal support to securities trading department and depositary department in relation to trading Ukrainian securities in organized and over-the-counter markets and their safekeeping;
• Maintaining a library of standard agreements relating to securities;
• Negotiation of amendments to standard agreements;
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements applicable to custody and broker-dealer activities, including licensing conditions, certain notification requirements, etc;
• Review of documents for opening of securities accounts;
• Monitoring changes in applicable laws and regulations in the area of securities trading and depositary activities

Requirements:

• Full Higher Education in the area of law;
• Experience of working at a law firm, a bank, a securities broker-dealer, or a depositary institution;
• Advanced level of English, written and spoken;
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
