Вакансия Analyst for Radio Communication Equipment

The Analyst for Radio Communication Equipment will undertake the following tasks/duties:

• Review technical specifications for radio communication equipment that is subject of procurement, confirm compliance with the project needs and provide recommendations for improvement if needed.
• Engage with the recipients to clarify technical matters and solicit their opinion on the equipment to be delivered.
• Assess the chances for integration of the new equipment into existing systems of communication.
• Verification of the elaborated technical equipment and services in terms of its compliance with the project budget and provide recommendations if needed.
• Review of general part of tender packages and provide recommendations for improvement if needed.
• Perform technical evaluation of proposals for the supply of radio communication equipment.
• Determine compliance of the bids in accordance with the technical requirements detailed in the Invitation to Bid.
• Provide highlight reports after each stage of engagement.
• Perform quality assurance upon the delivery of the goods.

Impact of Results

• Approved technical specifications prepared for the tender dossier
• Completed evaluation of received bids and company recommended for contracting in the best value for money manner
• Inspection visits to the delivery and installation location as necessary
• Radio communication equipment successfully delivered and installed

Education

• First level university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent), preferably in Radio Communication, Information Technology, Equipment Engineering, Military Security Management or other related discipline is required.
• Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) will be considered a strong asset.

Experience

• Two years of experience in the field of radio communication equipment is required.
• Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Office 2003 and/or newer versions).

Languages

• Fluent oral and written Ukrainian/Russian is required.
• Basic knowledge of English required.

Contract type: Individual Contractor Agreement (ICA)

Contract level: Local Specialist (Retainer) Level LICA 8

Contract duration: Retainer contract with up to 100 working days in period from July 2018 to December 2018
