About the role

SolidOpinion is seeking an experienced javascript engineer. We move fast and think big and are looking for someone with the ability to learn quickly and guide our team of frontend software engineers.

On any given day you will

Code (not less than 80% of the time)

Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs, and code

Select the best tools for the problem and guide the team how to use them

Who are you?

B.S. in a technical discipline.

3+ years of professional or open-source experience writing JavaScript

2+ years of professional or open-source experience with a JavaScript React framework and Redux.

Familiarity with standard javascript async patterns

Proficient in Linux environment & LXC such as docker.

An understanding of unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)

Experience with Agile Development, Kanban, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies

Never ending the desire to self-educate on the latest list of web technologies

"Self-starter" attitude and ability to make decisions independently

Excellent analytical skills with a history of superb delivery against work you're leading
