Responsible for business development projects and strategic initiatives for CIS region and will be working closely with regional management, country GMs and corporate functions;
Be part of the strategic planning process and involved in the preparation of long range strategies and action plan;
Scout for new opportunities that are in line with the strategic plan outlined for the region;
Develop and maintain relations with Abbott’s partners and suppliers;
Follow up industry trends and changes in health care reforms that will impact country strategies and business development priorities;
Conduct detailed market analysis, assess potential of new products, prepare business cases and present to management team;
Ensure successful coordination of different functions (Marketing, Sales, IT, Medical, and Legal) in business development projects;
Ensure compliance with relevant Acts, legal demands, ethical standards, Corporate Business and Safety Procedures and Abbott Code of Business Conduct.
35% Travel Requirement.
Qualifications:
University Degree preferably in engineering, business administration or a medical field;
A general understanding and knowledge of principles and practices of the pharmaceutical industry;
6-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in following fields; business development, strategic planning, portfolio management, or marketing;
Strong with IMS data assets (i.e. ATCs, products, molecules), forecasting and business case preparation;
Analytical minded, good in time management and project planning; capable of following-up different tasks at the same time;
Able to work in a cross-functional environment with strong project management skills;
Fluency in English and Russian; proficiency in MS Office applications.
