Key responsibilities:Conduct investigations into geological problems related to hydrocarbon exploration and/or reservoir characterization utilizing existing dataWork under supervision or with a group of people to propose, develop, and implement timely and reliable solutions to geological problems and recommend appropriate actionPrepare reports and oral presentations of the outcome of the geological studies for review by management.Assist in training the less experienced geologists through discussions and work sessions.Work along contractors to plan, organize and undertake core/stratigraphy workConduct simple geological tasks such as mapping, build a stratigraphic/structural cross-sections and correlationsPerform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Team Leader.Requirements:Bachelor degree in geology or other related science with 2 years of relevant experience (Master degree is preferred). • Have good understanding in few of the geological disciplines used in hydrocarbon exploration and reservoir characterization.• Good understanding of fundamental geologic information such as core, well logs, cuttings, sedimentology, stratigraphy• The experience may include hands-on technical work, such as basin and numerical modeling as well as providing geo-technical support.• Working experiences in the oil industry preferred.• Skills and experience in people and project management preferred.• Relevant communication skills in English (writing and speaking).Employment conditions:— The schedule of work is 8:00−17:00— Official salary payment— Medical insurance programme— Annual bonus payment based on the performance & results— Corporate mobile phone
