Job Description

This position requires a perfectionist that’s driven to ensure the reliability of our product, in which knowledge of the full testing cycle will be utilized with strong problem-solving skills.

In this role, your day will look something like this:

• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts and stakeholders throughout the software life cycle to ensure software design and functionality expectations remain aligned.
• Estimate the test effort for assigned projects and test assigned projects in the specified time frame.
• For new feature releases, you will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, as well as ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live.
• Write test plans based upon requirements, develop functional automated test scripts, perform testing, will have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle.
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
• Apply test methodology and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies.
• Work closely with development team to understand how product changes affect maintenance of test cases and the QA testing environments.
• Create testing summary reports, clearly communicating to management all testing results.

Your profile:

• 2+ year of commercial software testing experience
• Knowledge QA methodologies (e.g. types of testing, definition of QA, QC)
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and process for quality assurance
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Agile approach
