European company has the world’s largest platform for producing personalized items across the planet and looking for Lead Quality Assurance Engineer.
About project :
Testing frameworks are based on the Cucumber toolchain.
We are using JavaScript and Ruby for creating tests and frameworks. And Golang for creating some data consistency validation tools and custom services to improve/maintain testing progresses.
The team mostly consists of SDETs, and the rest are Manual QAs.
The Quality Assurance team members have shared resources across all teams in the company. So when any team requires help, then its team members reaching out to the QA team. Each QA team member belongs to a long-term team, and they are focusing on maintaining and improving quality assurance processes there.
The testing process strives to be fully automated, and significant teams amount has it. The rest of the teams are moving to have fully automated testing, but currently, there're manual testing flows.
Responsibilities:
Mentoring and guiding the engineering teams and QA engineers.
Ensuring that client develops and releases high-quality products to its millions of customers across the world.
Accelerate the pace of release by advising on tools and frameworks for accuracy, repeatability, and scalability.
Define and execute manual and automated tests to constantly improve test coverage and test effectiveness.
Collaborating with colleagues as part of the Technology management team
A person should be able to take part in leading and should be able to oversee the quality across all projects in the company. Within all mention above, a person should also be able to create tests and improve testing approaches.
Requirements:
Degree level qualification in a relevant field.
A strong record of team management and mentoring.
Solid background as a Developer.
Demonstrated experience in leading automated QA effort on large-scale software projects.
Demonstrated experience in measuring and reporting quality-related metrics.
Great thinking, planning, and organizational ability.
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
