Requirements:

• 2+ years Linux/Unix [Ubuntu, Centos/RHEL] administration and configuration
• Experience in one of scripting languages and cli tools (Python, bash, awk, sed)
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools: Puppet, ansible
• Understanding of continuous integration process and tools: Jenkins, Bamboo
• Understanding monitoring principles and experience with monitoring systems: zabbix, graphite, Nagios, NewRelic
• An understanding of protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, WebSokets, XHR, Protobuf and DNS

Advantages:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related area
• Experience with virtualization technologies: vmware, AWS
• Experience with web and application services: Apache, Tomcat, nginx
• Knowledge of version control systems and frontend application servers: git, mercurial
• Experience with performance testing approach

Responsibilities:

• Setup configuration management process and tools
• Create smooth continuous integration process for development components
• Support virtual servers based on ESXi, AWS, configure APM solution, monitoring servers and MySQL databases
• Analyze, plan and manage capacity of performance environment
• Analyze product's performance bottleneck, investigate complex configuration and performance issues
• Debug, troubleshoot, and work with team members to find and fix issues
• Analyze performance test data, defects and test results. Deduct the chain of events leading to a failure
• Design, develop and execute automated data driven performance test scripts. Create reports that describe detected defects and possible causes

We are seeking for a talented and motivated individual to contribute to the configuration management and performance testing in System Test group as Performance Engineer (DevOps).

The ideal candidate is a thinker who is passionate about the most advanced technologies and methods in configuration management, virtualization and performance testing.

As a part of Performance Testing Team you will be responsible for managing, debugging, configuration, and troubleshooting complex applications and infrastructure performance issues.

This process includes but not limited to researching for a suitable solution, troubleshooting issues, interacting and collaborating with plenty of technical resources such as developers, DBAs and architects across entire company.
