Вакансія Support Engineer

OpsWorks Inc. is a Ukrainian-based professional DevOps and system administration team delivering complex engineering solutions and remote IT support services. We are looking to expand our team with a Support Engineer who will help us to ensure that we meet our customers' demands of service delivery and QoS. The position implies working with the latest technology stack and constant growth within the role.

We will work together to design and build reliable and productive IT infrastructure, setup and configure servers and workstations, implement the newest technologies in to the daily business routine and help to manage the overall underlying environments.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing technical support to our customers;

• Timely acknowledging and resolving requests/incidents;

• Installation and configuration workstation/server software;

• Supporting of network and domain user accounts and mailboxes;

• Server and application monitoring;

• Web hosting support.

Your Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science;

• Experience with Linux/UNIX platforms;

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network protocols and packet analysis;

• Windows (both desktop and Server) and MS Office experience;

• Ability to understand customers’ problems and offer the right solution;

• Quick response time for urgent cases of emergency;

• Сustomer oriented, analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to details;

• High degree of responsibility, strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize needs;

• Strong organizational and time management skills;

• Intermediate English level is mandatory.

Nice to have:

• Experience in technical support (level 1 or 2);

• LAMP stack knowledge;

• Task tracking system experience (Jira, Redmine, Trello);

• Bash scripting skills;

• Deep interest in system administration and willingness to learn and grow in this area.
