About Client:

Our Client is one of the world leaders in specialty label and packaging solutions for global corporations, small businesses and consumers. They supply media for using it in digital printers. Being one of the world-leading manufacturers of printable labels, name badges, business cards, dividers, specialty card products and more, they market their products under the well-known brand. Together with manufacturing, they provide software solutions that help small businesses and consumers to design online or download templates for further digital printing. And since there are many software solutions on the market for printable product design, the company needed to react quickly to market challenges in order to differentiate themselves in the market.

About Project:

The Client selected SoftServe for the development and support of their service – a software product for quick and easy design development and printing, with the functionality of a graphics editor. It is suitable for users of many different platforms (Web, Desktop, Mobile) and allows their customers to personalize and print products online.

SoftServe had already successfully partnered with the Client for 5 years to develop software decision for their designer tool which helps to create a complex solution using images, rich text, shapes etc., they have selected SoftServe to develop the ‘Do It For You’ (DIFY) model and integrate it within the existing system.

To streamline the development process the SoftServe team utilized SCRUM methodology with two-week iterations and held daily meetings with the Client, along with retrospective meetings, regular demos, and presentations of technical solutions and approaches.

Current Project is worthwhile due to the following:

Job Purpose:

For this project, we are looking for an intelligent, clever, highly motivated Web UI developer who can work as a team member and resolve complex tasks without the guidance of senior staff.

This position requires an ability to design responsive, scalable solutions, ensure development execution and excellent quality throughout the software development process.

Technologies Usage:

• HTML5 based stack on front-end
• JBoss as application server
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) as default hosting platform
• AWS PostgreSQL RDS as default relational database engine
• ImageMagick as a tool for image identification and conversion
