GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Middle С++ Developer to join its Kyiv office.

The Customer is a leading provider of innovative broadband solutions that deliver video, voice and data to communications providers around the world. One of its devices is a stream processing platform for multiplexing, scrambling, re-encoding and statistical multiplexing of MPEG streams. GL team participates in development of application-level embedded software for new generation of these devices as well as contributes to evolving prior platforms. Also, GL provides manual and automation QA services for testing device and its high-level management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree - Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematical or Engineering Degree;
• 2+ years of production C++ development on any platform;
• Experience with standard C++ development libraries such as STL, Boost, etc.;
• Experience developing in a Linux environment such as CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.;
• Experience in distributed systems development;
• Experience with modern development tools such as git, GitHub, CMake, etc.;
• Capability of scripting with Unix shell, Python, JavaScript, etc.;
• Understanding of Network programming (e.g. sockets), configuration and setup;
• Domain-specific knowledge in video processing is a plus.

Preferences

• Experience with Cloud, Containers, Digital Media-Media Processing, Video processing;
• Demonstrated experience in complete product lifecycle, from conception through delivery;
• Proven Investigation, Debug, documenting abilities;
• Must be able to work on several different projects at the same time;
• Communications ability in English;
• 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and write well-organized, optimized, testable and documented source code.
• Troubleshoot, debug existing source code.
• Cover code with unit tests, integration tests and end-to-end tests.
• Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum based environment.
• Collaborate with other programmers to design and implement features.
• Work independently when required.
• Contribute to technical design documentation.
• Continuously learn and improve skills.
