Вакансія Linux System Engineer/DevOps

Infopulse Ukraine is inviting talented professionals to join our project and to work as a full-time Linux System Engineer/DevOps in our Kyiv office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Linux System Administration (RHEL)
• Solid experience with configuration management tools: ansible
• Experience with monitoring solutions (Nagios preferable)
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere)
• Proficiency with Linux systems and deep understanding on how they work
• Hands-on skills with core Linux services and components
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Solid skills in managing and operating VMware vCenter (ESXi hosts, VMs, portgroups, datastores, clusters, etc)
• Experience with version control systems (git preferable)
• Strong scripting skills in one of scripting languages (python preferable)
• You’re confident and experienced working with following solutions/technologies/protocols: apache, nginx, squid, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS
• Complete understanding of TCP/IP stack
• Strong Intermediate (at least) English is a must

Will be an advantage

• Experience with Unix systems (Solaris)
• Experience working with REST API interfaces
• Experience with: RedHat Satellite/spacewalk, IdM/FreeIPA, Ansible Tower
• Good understanding of Windows Server Infrastructure and its core applications (AD, SCOM, SCCM)
• VMware specific solutions: vROPS, vRelize Orchestrator
• Provisioning tools, kickstarting, PXE

Areas of Responsibility

• Reinforce our team of system engineers with your maturity and proficiency
• Become a team player who will keep a tight communication and collaboration with both onshore/offshore colleagues
• Investigate and debug
• Tune and configure
• Deal with application owners and serve as L2 support
• Provision and backup
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Collaborate closely with security and network teams
• Be assisting vendors during deployments and deploy applications on your own
• Provide application operation support
• Automate things (because you hate doing them twice)
• Document stuff and keep our CMDB and wiki clean, lean and mean.
