FDI is a group of IT companies from Ukraine which develop analytical systems and business applications. Created by practicing professionals from banking sector in 2011 as a system integrator for automating activities of financial institutions, the company has gained a considerable experience in creating software and developed its own data array management platform. FDI specialists are working on more than a dozen city management automation projects. Company participates in tenders for developing software for cities all over Ukraine.

We are looking for

Proactive team player who is ready to face challenging tasks to develop the product from the scratch.

Required skills

• 1+ years of experience of leading a team of 3+ colleagues;
• 4+ years of experience in Java development;
• Solid understanding of Java core;
• Advanced knowledge of the Java 8;
• Strong design and development experience;
• Ability to setup new project structure and architecture;
• Experience in application testing;
• Software design patterns and paradigms comprehension;
• Experience in Spring platform (IoC, Boot, MVC etc.);
• Experience in JDBC and ORM frameworks (Hibernate);
• Experience in RESTful API implementation and integration;
• Understanding of SOA and Microservices;
• Solid communication skills;
• Strong leadership skills.

As a plus

• Knowledge and experience in Agile development methodologies;
• Experience with online transaction systems;
• Experience with high loaded applications and application scaling principles;
• Experience with Docker or cloud environments;
• Experience or knowledge of distributed caches;
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes;

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a set of back-end applications;
• Build and lead own team, control of their;
• Make decisions in technologies stack;
• Implement and test integrations with third party systems;
• Effectively communicate with project managers, analysts, customers and own team;
• Actively push technical improvements and new approaches into development process.
