Вакансія Senior Grants and Contracts Manager

The British Council, a leading international and cultural organisation, is recruiting a full-time Senior Grants and Contracts Manager.

Role purpose:

The post-holder will lead on the effective procurement, adaptation, installation and oversight of consultancy contract frameworks and grant disbursement systems deployed by the British Council for the delivery of its programmes in Ukraine. The Senior Grants & Contracts Manager will work closely with her/his counterpart English, Education, Society and Culture lead managers as well as with the British Council's Human Resources, Corporate Services and Finance teams in Ukraine.

Main opportunities/challenges for this role:

Contract Procurement. Ensure the correct use of programme consultancy contracts by the British Council in Ukraine, taking into account the organisation's global standards and relevant aspects of Ukrainian legislation and practice.

Grant Disbursement. Ensure the effective establishment of grant disbursement processes, including all necessary documentation, taking into account the organisation's global standards and relevant aspects of Ukrainian legislation and practice.

Training. Support programme delivery teams to become familiar with, and compliant with, contract and grant management processes.

Skills, experience and qulifications for the advertised vacancy:

Essential:

• University degree or equivalent.
• English, Ukrainian and Russian to C1 level.
• At least three years' experience of successful delivery of technical assistance projects to agreed financial and non-financial targets.
• At least three years' experience of working on donor-funded grant disbursement programmes in Ukraine.
• Experience of procuring consultancy / human resources.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desirable

• Qualification in procurement or project management.
• Experience of acting as a consultant / trainer.
• Experience of successfully pursuing and delivering projects through donor-funded, sponsorship, client- and/or co-funded partnerships.
