StarOfService a fast growing dynamic startup and a market leader in Europe. Our product is adopted for 80+countries world-wide (which is interesting and definitely a challenge). AWS is used and our servers are running in 4 different regions. A brief list of main Tech stack is: Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, LAMP/LEMP, Chef, Ruby, Python, and Docker.

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer looking at building something great; in terms of user experience, code quality, best practices and best technologies.

• This will be a full-time long term remote freelancing contract (40hrs/week, can run for years)
• Knowing good level of English is important and required to work in a multicultural team
• Available to join ASAP

ARE YOU CONFIDENT ABOUT HAVING

• Strong experience with Linux
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack
• Understanding of Web technologies
• Experience with web-servers (Apache, Nginx)
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL is preferable)
• Bash scripting
• Experience with at least one programming language (Ruby and Python are preferable)
• Familiarity with Docker
• Master degree at documentation reading
• Self-motivation and strong will to learn new technologies

WE ALSO APPRECIATE HAVING THE FOLLOWING SKILLS

• Automated configuration management systems (Chef is huge plus)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as a code principle (CloudFormation or Terraform)
• CI/CD platforms (TeamCity, Jenkins,...)
• Monitoring systems (Prometheus is preferable)
• Positive minded, hard working attitude willing to build the best product
• Team player with pro-activeness to initiate things, and willingness to execute well
• Ready to take responsibilities ASAP
