Finance Hub is a passionate, dynamic and bold team of experienced finance professionals, based in Kyivstar HQ and dedicated to securing financial performance of VEON group. We use best practices of #1 telecommunications company in Ukraine to provide excellence in financial planning and analysis to Eurasia region (Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan) of a global group.

The role implies:

- Management of the budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts: process orchestration, challenge of the functional budgets, consolidation

- Five-year business planning: process orchestration, development of view on long-term trends, challenge of the functional plans, consolidation

- Long-term modelling for business development

- Internal communication and interaction with group HQ

- Submission of data in ERP (Hyperion) and system improvements;

- Position does not envisage direct subordinates; hence, people skills are key

Our dream applicant:

- Has strong modelling and financial analysis skills, is an advanced Excel user

- Understands financial reporting and has excellent knowledge of Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

- Is able to review and analyze complex projections under tight deadlines

- Thinks critically, challenges and validates incoming information

- Can easily communicate in a multicultural environment both orally and in writing, has strong English skills (especially, written)

- CFA, ACCA or candidacy towards those is an advantage

- Has a service mindset, treats internal clients with great care

Within 30 days will:

- Review and challenge forecast prepared by functions

- Support local teams in business planning process

- Identify key risks and issues of business planning process

- Get a basic understanding of telecommunications industry

Within 60 days you will:

- Meet with local teams to understand their needs and challenges

- Deliver insights on improving forecasts

- Have a deep knowledge of Hyperion and working understanding of telecommunication business

Within 90-180 days you will:

- Manage the short-term forecasting and budgeting process involving multiple stakeholders within challenging timeline

- Steer the long-term business planning process with key industry experts

- Provide comments and recommendations for top management of the company

- Prepare full package of forecasted financials (BS, CF, PL) for an operating company in one of our geographies

- Work with HQ towards improvements of financial systems and processes
