Logistics Specialist

The purpose of this position is to assume responsibilities related to warehouse operations storing and distributing investigational medicinal products (IMPs) and ancillary clinical materials.

Duties primarily involve:

• communication to Clients on status of orders and requests
• physical and documentary verification of Inbound shipments (Receipt to the warehouse)
• coordination of Warehouse Operators processing Inbounds and displacements
• processing Orders from Clients within WMS
• physical and documentary verification of picked orders against requests
• follow up of sent shipments to their final destination
• processing of returned shipments from sites
• verification of returned materials and preparation of them for the further destruction
• physical inventory verification within the frame of periodical / ad hoc inventory checks
• filing of the relevant protocol documentation, complaints handling in accordance with corporate procedures
• updating of the functional manager on complaints status
• relabeling of Investigational Products per request from Client and in accordance with corporate procedures
• regular and ad hoc reporting to the functional manager and above
• performing other duties as assigned

To be successful in the Logistics Specialist job role you will need be independent in carrying out assigned tasks and it is expected to practice continuous self-training on warehouse operations subjects.

Experience required:

• knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and thorough knowledge of Ukrainian legislation
• understanding of distribution practices and principles (i.e. FEFO, FIFO)
• understanding of warehouse operations (i.e. Inbound shipment, Displacement, Outbound shipment, Order for delivery)
• good verbal and written communication skills
• good PC skills (i.e. 1C, MS Excel, MS Word)
• strong intermediate English
• Education level – degree educated
