Вакансія Junior Media Services Engineer

Infopulse Ukraine is opening a new domain and we are hiring talented professionals to join our brand new project and work as a Junior Media Services Engineer. Our customer Proximus is one of the largest European Telecom providers of network-based information and communications technology services, telephony, television and the internet.

We are looking for a junior engineer with a strong interest in IPTV content and development experience, who is eager to work in the TV/Media environment.

A selected person will be a part of the team within the Media Services Engineering domain that technically enables the content of Proximus-TV service.

Areas of responsibility:

• Ensure that all services are operational in order to guarantee an optimal customer experience
• Analyze various network components and identify ways to improve existing workflows
• Translate business and customers’ requests into technical solutions
• Communicate with technical and operational teams in order to develop, build and implement a correct solution
• Participate in discussions with external partners and report major outcomes to internal stakeholders
• Take part in high-level meetings linked to platforms architecture of the services
• Contribute to improvement of services and support different initiatives linked to tomorrow’s IPTV experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, ICT or other Engineering Sciences
• Experience in TV/Media environment, such as an internship, and more particularly in IPTV architecture will be a strong asset
• Experinece with HLS, MPEG-DASH, DRM (Widevine, PlayReady), HTTP Delivery
• Experience (through internship or else) in analyzing scripts (Bash, Python or similar Web tools)
• Strong interest in high-level network design and development
• Excellent team playing skills, willingness to work with others and exchange information
• Good written and spoken English
• Good analytical and organizational skills, ability to work autonomously and to rapidly take on responsibilities
