Nestle Ukraine is announcing an opening for the Corporate Sales Controller in Kyiv.
Main purpose of the job
Providing partnership to the Head of Sales/Business and other Departments in strategic decision from a finance perspective. Take a proactive role in controlling the business performance and supporting the Business and Sales Managers to achieve targeted result.
Play a key role in the continued development of deliverables including reporting, budgeting and planning process by partnership with the business leaders across the company. Ensure, that sales operations adhere to financial, legal requirements and Nestle Accounting practices.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the customer and channel strategy development process and ensure the commercial plan is executed in line with the strategy;
- Coordinate the Sales forecast (Volume, value, investment to the trade) to ensure alignment with monthly business planning and Yearly Target;
- Perform financial reporting, financial analysis, trend analysis, forecasting and budgeting of investment, financial controls, PNL analysis, investment analysis & ROI maximization, inventory analysis on monthly/quarterly and annual bases;
- Continuous analysis improvement of investment to the trade;
- Perform monthly variance analysis and GAP analysis to annual budget, including graphs, charts and root cause analysis;
- Meet critical business and corporate deadlines such as the monthly closing, reconciliation and reporting;
- Financial evaluation / business simulations / supporting calculations of main KPIs;
- Co-ordination, control and follow-up of price changes;
- Coordination Customer Contribution to ensure alignment with monthly/annual business planning + financial guidance in customer negotiation;
- Defining trade-spend policy together with Sales, considering pricing, trade terms and investment;
- Implementation of Nestle standards in area of responsibilities;
- Provide efficient support to National Sales Managers in order to achieve Yearly targets;
- Monitoring of Sales Force Budget/salaries and advice sales organization on annual resource planning and variance tracking;
- Constant communication with National Sales Manager, BU Manager, Category Managers and controllers about business performance and measures to be taken;
- Work closely with Distributors to ensure a healthy relationship (Financial Analysis and managing of Distributors PNL, Cash Flow and Balance);
- Provide back up for functions as: Credit Controll (decision maker);
- Team Management (internal team & sales) and support businesses.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in Finance or Economics;
- Experience in Finance & Control within multinational company (Sales Controlling would be significant advantage);
- Strong result focus and proactive in cross functional collaboration;
- Advanced level of English.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Outstanding common business sense / understanding and practical approach;
- Knowledge of informational systems: Microsoft Office Package, SAP.
