As part of this team, you will work with high-profile clients, including owner-managed businesses, multinationals and public companies in a variety of industry sectors. You will have the opportunity and support to take on responsibility early on, making a real contribution from day one.

The role will involve:

• Working on internal audit projects with various Ukrainian and international clients to provide them with expertise in the area of internal audit: creation and support of the internal audit function through the provision of outsourcing and co-sourcing services, assessment of performance of the internal audit function and its compliance with requirements of international internal auditing standards;
• Delivering engagements, identifying financial and business risks, analyzing business processes and controls, drafting reports and agreeing the draft findings as well as improvement recommendations with clients’ management, and providing the results to CAEs;
• Testing internal controls under requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and following a rigorous approach using Deloitte's own methodology and relevant industry
  guidance, and providing recommendations o improvement where necessary based on best practices and COSO framework guidelines;
• Working with peers in other specialized areas of the team to ensure that key clients and relationships receive broader RA propositions;
• Demonstrating specific service area/competency and/or industry expertise that provides tangible value for our clients;
• Successfully working as part of a team to fulfil clients’ expectations and meet the engagement objectives;
• Anticipating client needs based on a strong understanding of the client and its industry;
• Actively participating in business and practice development initiatives;
• The role foresees extensive travel both within Ukraine and abroad (within CIS).

To be considered you should possess:

• Degree in accounting, finance or another relevant discipline from a recognized university;
• 3-4 years of experience working as an external or internal auditor,
• specializing in pharmaceutical or oil&gas industry will be a plus;
• CIA or ACCA qualification(s) (completed or in progress);
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Ukrainian and Russian;
• Ability to think creatively, generate innovative ideas, challenge the status quo and deliver effective results to often-ambiguous requirements;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Confidence when interacting with all levels of client personnel, including CFOs, line managers, analysts and accountants;
• Ability to work both alone and as part of a team, to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
